First off, great application! Many great features and very useful! I've read through the forum a bit and I really appreciate how responsive the developers are--replies to every post. You guys are definitely in touch with your user base and it shows.

A few suggestions for new features...ideas I came across during the first week of use. I'm sure you have some or all of these on a list somewhere already, but anyway...they're on my mind, too.

- would be nice if search included not just descriptions, but also event names.

- star/rating/emblem system for video clips for quick identification of good clips (this seems important for me since the export/convert process is so slow for AVCHD (12x)...makes sorting and finding good clips before export even more important)

- batch name change, batch "add-to-description" (example: for adding the name of photographer to all descriptions of selected clips) or description change.

- what might be nice is a dialogue similar to what you get when you look at the info for a song clip in itunes--with an option to change some well-thought-out categories such as "filmed by", "date", "location", "keywords", "description", etc. The dialogue may allow changes to one file, or a selection of files.

- show duration of clip in the main view, allow calculation of durations in the status bar when multiple items are selected.

- drag and drop from camera to import

- scrolling on filmstrip view with arrow keys

- "smart-scrolling" or "auto-scrolling" that remembers where you were last time you were in an event

- already imported items noted with something like a green circle with check mark

- estimate import time remaining

Anyone else like/dislike these ideas? Any of them already present that I missed? Thanks for a great product that obviously is improving rapidly!
