Yes - you can archive directly from the camera to a disk. You plug in your camera, add the clips from the camera to RevolverHD, then decide what disk you want to burn.

For playback on a Blu-ray player, burn an AVCHD DVD. If you just want to store the files for safe keeping, you can burn a Data DVD.

Alternatively, you can create a Camera Archive, which is a file stored on disk that can be opened by iMovie and Final Cut whenever you need to import into a project.
