I'm having massive responsiveness problems with VoltaicHD on a mac. I'm running 10.6.3 on a Core I7 2.66 Macbook with 512/SSD. Whenever I start voltaic and try click on "Convert" pulldown to switch to "Convert Custom", it freezes, sometimes for 5-10 seconds. It's not a show-stopper per-se but is certainly annoying. I've tried 2.0.2 and 2.5.0 - seems to make no difference. Is the app perchance running something in the Main UI loop on startup that it shouldn't be running (like checking disk space or codecs installed?)

This affects preferences too.

Ughh.. This has become unbearable. Took my 27 minutes just now to navigate to a Custom preference pane. Does anyone even read these forums? What is support email? "Contact us" page leads to "Unauthorized" page.

I'm running 2.5.0 (build 823) currently, but I had the same issue with stable release 2.0.2 as well.
