I downloaded the trial version of Revolver as I am anxious to find a AVCHD burning solution for the Mac that actually works (I won't trash on your competitors here but let's say that my experience with other software has not been good). I like the simplicity of Revolver and that you have implicit support for the Hauppauge HDPVR which is some of my main sources.

But when I went to burn a disk, I noticed that Revolver's disk capacity assumes a single layer DVD. That severely limits what I can do with the tool.

Are there any plans to add support for burning to dual layer DVDs?

Revolver and dual layer DVDs

Hi there,

Revolver can burn dual layer DVDs. I think it assumes a single layer disk until you insert a DL disk.

Please put a blank DL DVD in the drive, then try again with Revolver.

Answer for dual layer DVDs

I am having the same problem with trying to create a burn to a DVD+R DL. In Revolver on the bottom of the window it sees the disk as a Dual Layer, and it also burns it, but when you put it in your blu-ray player the screen stays black. It will not play. So therefor I think shedworx did not give you the option to use Dual layer yet. I think they are more leaning to Blu-Ray disks then dual layer. I have tried & tried,I even thought it might be the disk brand, but it does the same. I hope they fix this or let us know what they intend to do about it. I hope this helped you a little.
