I just downloaded 2.3.6 and see that I can no longer export 24p to AVI. Why, oh why is that? I was perfectly happy with 2.3.5 and 24p AVI files. Now they have massive interlacing artifacts.
I consider this a downgrade from 2.3.5, and would like to get a download location so I can reinstall 2.3.5.
24p AVI issue
The old 24p conversion had problems, it didn't work properly for a lot of cameras. In the recent update we switched to a much more reliable method that is currently only available for WMV files.
We are in the process of doing a lot of work on the PC version. I will make note of your request to reinstate 24p for AVI files, although this will depend on how easy it is to get it reliable.
In the meantime the old version 2.3.5 should work fine as Justin suggested.

I have a Canon HF200, and on setting 2, the 3:2 pulldown removal is perfect. It would be nice with a manual override to the automatic detection, particularly if that means AVI output.
I've noticed that the WMV file takes much longer to transcode than AVI. Is that because the codecs are different?
