I am very interested in using this application with my Sony HDR-TG1. I have given the trial a run and I am especially interested in using it to extract the 5.1 channel audio out of my camera for use in Final Cut Studio 3. I was wondering if there is any way to have it only perform an audio conversion of the inputted media? I actually do like how Final Cut Pro 7 handles the conversion of .mts files to Apple ProRes 422 and would like to use it for converting the video and VoltaicHD+Compressor for converting the Audio. Since I do not need VoltaicHD to touch the video at all, is there any way to only have it convert and output the audio? It seems to already have the option to separate the audio out but I do not see an option for only outputting the audio. Thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll add this to the roadmap, which means it will probably be in version 2.1.
Once its in, this will let you do an "audio-only" conversion and provide you with the AC3 files from each movie. We're also thinking of converting the AC3 to WAV or another audio format so that its ready to load into FCP without further conversion.

Did this ever get added in? I am looking at the latest 2.5 beta and it appears that it still only supports 5.1 Audio Extraction if the video is output as well. Being able to skip the "import into compressor, output as Quicktime 5.1" step would be a huge plus as well.

We haven't been able to add this in to 2.5. Given other pressures on our schedule we've had to leave it out of this release.
Its still on the roadmap, so we hope to include this and a few other new features in 2.6 later in the year.
