i just fixed my dvr and copied some files that are in the format of trp to my mac. voltaichd does not recognize them. is there anyway to work around?

What is the make and model of your DVR? Does it record in HD?

TRP files again and problems with trimming

just tried importing the same trp files into 2.0 with no success. i now use iskysoft imedia converter to convert into h.264 and then use voltaic to convert it into prores for edit in fcp. it would be nice to do all in just voitaic. also, i can't trim in the preview which is why i have to edit in fcp. they are just tv programs so they only need to remove commercials and combining them back. "i" and "o" keys don't work and i can't drag the yellow bars. voltaic can convert them ok though. strange.

Hi Rod,

at the moment we don't offer the Trimming function on Quicktime movies, only on the AVCHD files. We will be adding this in again soon.

We did have a look at supporting these file types, but we won't be able to do it in the short term due to other development priorities (like supporting editing of Quicktime movies.

i doubt if you heard of the make because it is for hong kong which has a hd standard different from the rest of the world. it is called eight and the model is hd500gt. it does record in hd.
