Dear Shedworx Team,
I have started to work with FlamingoHD a couple of weeks ago and I have already got plenty of events in the navigation bar on the left. I am very happy with the software but it is getting harder an harder to keep a good overview of all the events. Is it possible to cluster the events somehow e.g. by topics like family, holiday, sports, etc. and then allocate manually the events to those clusters (like in iPhoto)? I think this would help a lot.
By the way - does the automatic update not recognize the new version 1.2.1 of FlamingoHD?
Thanks and best regards,
Gerse
FlamingoHD event folders
Hi Gerse,
we've been thinking about the same thing - my personal FlamingoHD library has 80 events going back over 3 years.
We plan to implement a grouping function of some sort. We're just thinking of what kind of grouping will be best - year based, user-defined, etc.
We don't publish the auto-update for a new release until a few days after we release it on the web site, just in case.
Regards
Justin
User defined grouping function please!
Thanks for the quick response! User defined grouping would be much appreciated! ;-)
Best regards,
Gerse
OK
Thanks Gerse,
we'll look into folder grouping for the next major release of FlamingoHD and we'll get you involved in the beta testing, if you like.
