Using the Forums

Welcome to the ShedWorx Forums!

We have set up forums for the first time as part of our web update.

We have two main areas - Shedworx Software and Community.

The ShedWorx Softare area is for issues and ideas about our software products. We will keep a close eye on this area and respond to issues where we can.

The Commuity area is for more general discussions and shooting, managing, editing and sharing your content.

We hope that you find the Forums useful!

Converting stalls @ 5% during conversion

Hello,

Converting MTS files from a GH1 and the conversion never ends - it stalls out a 5%. Problems started when I updated to the recent software update. Do I need to uninstall the software and if so when can I get the older version. POWER PC MAC 15in G4, 1; GHZ 1.25 GB

Hi JK,

you might be running OSX 10.4, which we dropped support for in the latest release of Voltaic.

I'm running 10.5.8. I installed the 10.4 version but it's still not working. It's killing me! File keeps converting and remains stuck on 5%.

Voltaic conversion for Gh-1 720 turns out slow motion footage

Hi, I recently purchased your software to convert my adcvhd footage from my panasonic gh1. I'm experiencing a problem where my 720 footage after I convert it through Voltaic results in slow motion. The funny thing is when I convert my 1080 footage, there's no problem. Can you advise please?

I don't know if this post will be still on.. but this is what I want to do..
I have shot 720p50 footage to be able to have perfect slowmotion at 25fps..
how this could be done with VoltaicHD?

for me is not a bug,, it's a feature :)

In regards to the slow motion footage, are you using v1.8.6 ??

720 P conversion from Panasonic GH1 resulting in slow mo

Thanks for getting back to me. I just installed 1.8.6 and it still results in my footage being half the speed. As I mentioned, I am using the default settings. Here's my hardware:
1) Panasonic GH1 NTSC
2) Power Mac 10.5.7

Is this enough info for you?

GH1 720p problem fixed

Hi Benson,

we've just found (and fixed) the problem. We'll send you a beta version to verify in a couple of days.

VoltaicHD was treating the 60fps recording from the GH1 as 30 frames per second (i.e. a 60p signal instead of a 60fps signal, for the technically minded), resulting in the slo-mo playback.
